highlite the word or phrase you want, then if you go to the little green link button on the top of the compose section, copy/paste your link in that section...poof...done! (super easy, try it and let me know if it works)
Also, the youtube vids...there is a section along the side that says "embed" and you can copy/paste that right into your compose section (just click the tab that says "edit HTML" first) and ...poof...again, super easy.
